As you may know, essential care workers at The Rawlin, a Onelife memory care facility, are on strike to save the lives of their residents. 25 deaths have occurred in the last 9 weeks – only six of them from COVID. Understaffing, insufficient training, extreme turnover and management’s refusal to recognize the union has put the lives of residents and the safety of workers at risk. Please join them for an update on their struggle and an opportunity to take part in a community conversation about immediate actions we can take to support these caregivers and their residents.
